So by now you may have heard of Bon Iver's (or Justin Vernon's) glorious return to form with his new single Calgary. It's not as if he's been doing nothing since 2007's For Emma, Forever Ago and 2009's Blood Bank EP as Gayngs' Related album from last year proves. But now it's just him on his own again.
With Calgary it seems Vernon has taken a leaf out of How To Dress Well's book of reverbed kind of R&B style vocals which probably originally took a leaf out of Bon Iver's book of awesomeness.
Like he's just showing who's boss. And that's what he is.
